Coffee Break started out as my first Today.com blog, where I shared a passion for everything to do with coffee. When Today.com shut its virtual doors, I reopened them at CoffeeBreak2Day.com. There’s a special emphasis on coffee and economic justice, as well as just coffee and the economy, but I also post about roasting your own, how to make different kinds of coffee drinks, cooking with coffee, cool coffee gadgets and… well, drop by and share your coffee break with me to find out.
The second Today.com blog, Everyday Tarot evolved into Tarot Tuesday at Blogger. It’s the culmination of several years of thought and nearly 40 years of reading Tarot as a meditation and a tool for every day life. It’s poorly maintained and seldom-posted but dear to my heart. It will eventually be the repository of my own deck of Tarot cards, complete with meditations and special meanings. Drop by on a Tuesday and share your own Tarot posts to help build the community.
Not My Mothers Blog was conceived as a joint project with my oldest girlchild who is happily on her way with her own life and her own blog. She still makes occasional appearances, usually when something really has her dander up. This is the blog where I shake out my hippie-lovin, tree-huggin’, dirty-liberal side. And since the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, so does she.
Poet A Day, a shamefully neglected blog where I post and review blogs about poetry. Poetry is one of my passions, and I love to share it, but I tend to get wrapped up in other things – like politics and making money. Still, there are some GREAT poetry sites there, and I do add more as the spirit moves me.
Find My Muse, another shamefully neglected blog where I occasionally remember to post writing prompts and inspirations for writers. Again, I add more as the spirit moves me. And it will be getting a thorough site-redesign in the near future to make it more user friendly. UPDATE: The site has been redesigned and now features photo prompts to help spark your muse to greater and greater heights. Drop by and check out our writing prompts!
Yes, I write for eHow. You’ll find my eHow articles and profile here. I don’t do as well as some people do with it, mostly because I really really don’t get what most people are searching for, so I write about things I like to talk about.
I’ve written a few articles for Associated Content as well. Not surprisingly, my best performers there are articles that I feel strongly about:
Simple Explanation of Mortgage Backed Securities And How They Contributed to the Economic Crisis
Tarot for Everyday Life
10 Tips to Improve Your Blogging in 2009
Girls Want Porn Too – a collection of columns about poetry featured at GotPoetry.com. These are dear to my heart, because poetry is a living, breathing element of my life which needs daily feeding. You’ll also find a collection of my poetry there.
