What Do Chameleons Dream?

What do chameleons dream?

When I was younger, I used to think that they dreamed about fitting in seamlessly. Now that I’m older and (a little bit) wiser, I know better. I figure that when chameleons dream, they dream in color. They imagine worlds where they stand out in brilliant hues against the background. They dream of being different, freed from a biological reaction that may provide protection, but limits their choices to being safe.

I’ve spent my entire life being a chameleon – fitting in wherever I was dropped without ever really feeling like I was a real part of things. My blogs are a reflection of the many sides of me. This page is a place where we all come together to show the world what happens when a chameleon achieves the dream of being unique.

  1. I really like that part about chameleons dreaming in color. I’d never really thought about it, but it really does fit.

I’m a bit of a chameleon myself…just slowly breaking out of the mold. πŸ™‚

  2. Hi, Jen,

Thanks for dropping by my little home. Being a chameleon is a good thing – it means you’ll always survive, no matter where you’re dropped.

  3. Here’s hoping. πŸ˜‰
